Friends,
I am totally committed to getting behind Mel Gibson’s new movie! It’s getting RAVE reviews from Church leaders in the States who have seen it. Michael Medved, respected Jewish film critic, said, “[Gibson's film] represents by far the most moving, substantive and artistically successful adaptation of biblical material ever attempted by Hollywood.” High praise indeed!
If you read this, click the button on the right, and also have a GOOD look around Passion Outreach - the resource website for pastors and church people. This is a major opportunity to coordinate evangelistic efforts around the movie’s opening in late Feb.
Can I suggest an idea?
Why not adopt a cinema near you? Get together with friends and start praying for the movie’s screening there, that people would be deeply touched when they see the movie there. Order resources from Mel’s site (linked at right) and spread them around at church. Be there when people exit the cinema with a team of mates… maybe manning a table or distributing free New Testaments!
Get creative folks! This is possibly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reach people who wouldn’t normally be open to the Lord!
