Well as far as Karen is concerned it has been the LONGEST ever pregnancy. At the moment I’m sleeping in the back room (my office) because she is so restless and uncomfortable at night that aparently I get disturbed in my sleep almost constantly. It explains how crappy I’ve felt waking up!
It’s a scheduled caesar as have been the last two, so we know exactly when B4 arrives… 8:30am on Monday morning.
The last few weeks I’ve been working from the Day3 office in Blackburn. I’ve been really impressed with those guys. I’ve been doing mostly graphics for them and that’s been really fulfilling for me. It is my core competency, and I’ve been extremely productive. Plus at the same time I’ve had a lot of similar design work for PropertyInvesting.com and I’ve had fun there too. So the work is all fun!
In the next few weeks I’m putting together a pretty big marketing deal for centre.net.au along with Eugene Ware. Euge is doing most of the nitty gritty work and I’m really impressed with his marketing skills.
Crossway has been good these last few weeks. We had missions week a few weeks back and the speaker was excellent. Tops! His name is Tim Meyers and he’s the Aussie boss of Pioneers. I was REALLY impressed with his Biblical teaching. It’s not every day you get really good stuff from the word. In my case I really felt challenged to get into Bible teaching again and this feeling was confirmed after a phone call from Rob Hensser from YWAM. We chatted for a while about website stuff and then he kind of challenged me to not forget my gift. It was good to hear that.
So I’ve got in mind to spend at most two weeks out of every two months overseas, teaching in YWAM DTSs. There is a real need for this in the poorer nations neighbouring Australia - in the pacific islands and South East Asia.
Well I’ll have LOADS of new pictures up in the gallery in a few days after we’ve had B4 and there a re pictures to prove it!
