I don’t understand Google. But I like ‘em!
They benched my business site in their sandbox for a few months for a hidden div with links in it - fair enough - then let it free again recently.
And it goes straight back up to a PR6. Backlinks - according to Google - barely exist.
I used to have hundreds of incoming links from all over the place, but the sites in question are mostly revised or gone… in any case I would have thought the incoming links would have been wiped out.
So does Google just have a really long memory?
