The Digg story with zero diggs. What the…?!

I’m over at Digg a lot at the moment. Today, at least. I should be working… instead I’m doing “research”. *wink*

Actually, I’m researching for another post I’m brewing…

Anyway, check this out. I’ve never seen this before. A digg story with NO votes.

As they say in the classics, “WTF?!”

zero diggs!

I’d be guess this might have happened because absolutely no-one dugg the story and the submitter himself un-dugg it… can that happen?!

Interesting. I’ve tried to digg it, but for a strange reason it didn’t work. Is this a digg bug? LOL. Digg is… “special”.

You’re obviously not on Digg very much. I’ve seen dozens of stories with 0 Diggs. This is not a bug, and happens when the submitter undiggs the story he submitted, sometimes by accident, sometimes when the story is a dupe, etc.

Ilya, I am on Digg regularly enough, but I can honestly say I’ve not seen this before.

But you’ve answered the question, so thanks!

I think it can happen if the audience doesn’t like the story and ‘buries’ the story.
