I have been bunkered down for the last 96 hours or so, completely obsessed with a new design for my blog.
At first I wasn’t making much progress, but then things started to flow and, well… it’s been pretty full-on since Saturday. In the next few hours I’m going to start the migration from my development site, and I expect all kinds of weird things to happen, since they almost always do.
So if you experience general weirdness, please forgive me… there is something much better around the corner 
(When I say full-on, I mean that I pretty much totally ignored my 12th wedding anniversary yesterday. My wife didn’t even get a card. I know that’s really really awful, and I am now on record to say that when this is all over I’ll be making “appropriate reparations” for my neglect. Anyone know a great restaurant in Melbourne?! I’m gonna be paying dearly, I know.)

I like the new look. I recently went through this process with another one of my blogs. You can tweak until you can’t tweak anymore and then, you find one more thing.

Beautiful work on the new blog. It’s one of the best blog designs I’ve seen. (And I looked at hundreds when setting up my blog a few months ago)
It’s not over the top ‘look how arty and clever I am’ like many custom blogs, just great design to make a lot of info and links look good & importantly be very easy to use, while being easy on the eye.
