You’d be forgiven for wondering where I’d got to. It’s been two weeks since I last blogged, which is completely ridiculous. Actually, that’s not entirely true. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on stuff I am shortly to blog about, but the truth is I have been very busy on another love of mine: brand strategy.
It’s just weird that all of a sudden I had a stack of work on my plate doing corporate identity and brand work, which has mostly consumed my attention these last few days. I’m very pleased with the results and will show it off here in due course… it won’t be public for a while, alas.
Meanwhile, here’s a conundrum for you…
Last year, I did some marketing consulting for my kids’ old school (we moved at the end of the year), and eventually got rejected on my suggestion for a new logo! Can you possibly think what their problem was with it?
They said something about a “meganormous legal bitch-slapping”… not sure what they meant.
Mouahahahah….!

you were wondering... I believe in rewarding commenters!
Is it because this is the Mc Donald’s logo turned upside down (well, part of it…)?
The lawsuit would have given them some advertising though…

I think Alister is being ironic
Reminds me of the Eddie Murphy film “Coming to America”
“They have the golden arches, we have the golden arcs. They have the Big Mac, we have the Big Mick!”
Some companies would charge an arm and a leg for someone else’s upside down logo.
Good to have you back, Alister!
