Yeah sure, it’s full of cuties having fun in their underwear, but I’d like to hope my addiction to this TV ad has more depth to it than that! I think it’s a combination of the music which is quirky and catchy, the fast editing which gives it great pace, the obvious fun the girls are having, which is a delight to watch, and the cool choreography.

Whatever it is, I’m a brand/marketing guy who is not easily impressed, but this one makes me happy whenever it comes on TV. And I can even remember what the product is: Bonds Kaleidoscope briefs.
But alas, it seems to have been pulled. Campaign over. At least we still have the YouTube copies, the Bonds campaign page with a full-screen version and behind-the-scenes stuff, and Marina Gasolina by Bonde do Role, the song from the ad.
(I also reckon it’s kind of funny that this ad was shot in a church hall. Where was the vicar that day, I wonder?! Mouahahaha!)

you were wondering... I believe in rewarding commenters!
Definitely a catchy video, with a poppy but strange upbeat tune I coul easily see getting stuck in my head. And who knows? The ad being pulled man be a boon to the company which will get secondary advertising via YouTube
Why don’t we have these ads in the UK?!
reminds me of a Dr. Seuss quote:
“If you never did,
you should.
These things are fun
and fun is good.”
It’s a cute commercial!
Advertisers can do any trick to promote their business and this is one of them. Making people go crazy along with their brand awareness.
