Australia’s Federal elections are just a few weeks away…
If the pre-election polls are anything to believe, this is the hon. Kevin Rudd, Australia’s next (?!) Prime Minister – that’s like the President, dear American friends!.
Don’t they feed parliamentarians properly in Canberra?!
What amazes me is he would have know the cameras were rolling… he’s sitting directly behind the guy speaking! D’oh!

I’m not Australian, and I don’t know that much about aussie politics, but, I find myself thinking that Rudd is going to do more damage than good, if he gets in.
What do I know though? I’m just praying that God has His will fulfilled, and I trust that He’ll help whoever He chooses.

That is crazy. I had the same thought, he can’t be that comfortable “forgetting” that the camera is on.
It does kind of “humanize” him, though.

I thought for sure that next YouTube video was a joke, especially when he moved his head and his eyes lined up with the microphones.
Initially, I thought, ‘Okay. This man has dry lips.’ But he kind of lingered.
And then he started to look like he was leering.
And that tongue. Never. Went. Away. (Rubs eyes with the palms of hands to scour the image away.)
Those European politicians are somethin’ else.

it’s a bit ick but it is elitist behavior that angers the voters. They hated Bush 41 not knowing how much milk cost or John Kerry windsurfing and not getting cheese wiz on a philly cheesesteak. this is an everyman moment he managed to overcome.
While that video should be nothing significant, it does look a little strange. But it’s also interesting how the seemingly mundane things affect the reputation of prominent people. Is this really how we should base our impressions of a person’s capabilities?

Lol, that is pretty gross. This is another reason why not just anybody is cut out to be a celeb. If I had cameras on me constantly, pretty much everybody would be grossed out.
