Ian beat me too it. Robert Ellis the former owner over Upstart Blogger sold the site to Ashley Morgan not too long ago.

I’m the original Upstart Blogger and designed most of the themes that are available there. The new Upstart Blogger, Ashely Morgan, is just beginning to release his own themes. But I suspect you’re wondering why Upstart Blogger was down all day today. Both UB and Futurosity are hosted on the same server at AN Hosting, and it experienced a meltdown. Things seem to be coming back up.

Upstart Blogger is still alive and kicking. My server came under attack on Wednesday and things have been on and off during the last 24 hours. It could have something to do with this - http://www.upstartblogger.com/10-easy-ways-to-spot-a-blogging-scam - it ruffled a few feathers and could have provoked the attack.
