I started sponsoring a child in 1990, or maybe ’89… I can’t remember. We can’t solve the world’s problems for everyone, but for what amounts to loose change, you can completely change the world for one child. I’m onto my second child now, after my first grew up and moved into full-time employment(!). Are you onto your first yet?

Wise words indeed. And brilliant news about your first sponsored child.
The things is this; alone, we cannot change the entire world’s problems, but together we can, especially if we all contribute in some shape or form to a project like this.
Regards from SA…
We’ve sponsored a child through Compassion Int’l since 2001. It is a blessing.
Yes, we cannot solve the world’s problems… thank goodness we are never called to do so in scripture.
Lets start making changes. To make poverty history, lets start with ourselves, helping each other can make a difference. encouraging people to stand and fight poverty. Lets act together to make this world a better place to live without poverty!
