If Intense Debate was worth purchasing, why, months later, do barely any Automattic staff blogs use it?

I plan to use it, but all the integration points I want aren’t done yet. When they are I’ll switch over in a heartbeat.
Speaking of comments, I always click “add video comment” here instead of submit and the tab order is messed up. You should give ID a spin. Spam protection for free, too!

I’m a fan of Intense Debate (even though couldn’t get it working on my own blog, got it at http://clarionfolk.com). And like the idea of Automattic going to town on it.
Would be cool to see it seamlessly added to WordPress itself. Into the engine. Although I guess there’s some big hurdles to get over. Stuff beyond my understanding.

I have had nothing but problems since installing IntenseDebate on my blog. Currently, no one can leave messages on my blog. I have contacted ID technical support and they don’t quite seem to know what they’re doing! I’m not saying this to be vindictive, but simply to warn other bloggers away from IntenseDebate. It’s more trouble than it’s worth!
